Wed marked the almost end of my university life in SMU. 4 more modules next year and I'm done with it! WOOOHOOO.. Not that I can't wait to join the workforce but i'm honestly SICK and TIRED of the rat race in SMU. Kinda contradictory huh. Since work life itself will be a rat race.

On the subject of work: WHY IS EVERYONE AT WORK??? I AM SO BORED!!!

It's funny how in the past it was always so easy to find ppl to go out with or erm.. play mj.. ;) Now barely 2 days after the end of my exams, i'm bored out of my skull at home. Oh well. I guess i should treasure this time because life after school is gonna be hectic and i'll regret not enjoying the feeling of bumming more..

Oh yeah.. The great news is: I AM GOING TO TAIWAN!!! YAHOOOOOOOO!!! Finally after so many calls to so many agencies, we've finally found one with a decent itinerary that has a confirmed departure! LALALALALA!! I was happy yesterday after finding it and booking it that i was dancing around.. HAHA.. in julia's house and the tour agency.. julia's mum and the people at the agency must have thought i was mad.. Oh well, quoting del: "when is shi hui not crazy?!"

Maybe being crazy helps me stay and feel young.. Like what i said to jasmine: "i'm only 2 years old"!!! ;)

SWAY

sigh...

i can't help but believe in the thing called luck sometimes..

why do i always fall sick near to exams??? last night i had a sore throat so i tried to go sleep about 1+... Tried so hard but couldn't.. Had body ache all over and was feeling both hot and cold! Terrible feeling. Worse still.. In the morning I woke up, tried to walk to the toilet to bathe and fell down.. Measured my body temperature and it was 39 degrees! Which explains the way why i was feeling the way I was feeling!

Worst: I have a final quiz on wed and ASK says it's gonna be difficult! And i alr had a lot of trouble with the last paper cos I dunno how to use a freaking financial calculator.. And my basic financial knowledge is so weak cos i had a real lousy finance 101 prof who taught NUTS.

SAVE ME!!!

my 22nd..

Last night, or rather this morning marked the end of my 3 day celebration of my birthday! This year was fantastic and thanks to everyone (who refused to let me pay for my meals) who made it so special!

It started on mon with a "surprise celebration" at hard rock cafe with julia, mich, cher, clare and jas! Ok... Though i kinda guessed that there was a celebration but i never guessed it would be at hard rock! Food at hard rock was just alright but the company was great! And seeing the pathetic state my beloved wallet is in, they gave me a really nice renoma wallet - with lots of space for cards (you guys know me so well!)! And of course, the ritualistic birthday mj followed after dinner! :P

Tues was celebration with my family at The Paramount. Food was fantastic as usual. Absolute value for money!

Wed was celebration with rgs gals - del, wh and xinyi at ps cafe. The ambience there is really nice but prices are honestly steep.. 1 cake, 1 pudding and 4 drinks cost 99 bucks! But it was good.. Except for my very strong drink. After that one drink i must admit that i was a little tipsy. But i managed to make my way down to obar anyways.. It's been a long time since we went for ladies night which used to be a weekly tradition when cher and clare were still studying. I guess it's gonna be missed!! Had a flaming waterfall with cher and went like totally high! Cher: i prefer flaming lamborgini lah.. tastes better with the baileys! Thank goodness I only puked once (in the toilet), managed to stay on my feet the whole time and hopefully didn't make too much a fool of myself. It was really fun! Music from what i vaguely remember was so good that i couldn't bear to leave!!!

I must say that this birthday was absolutely FANTASTIC! Probably even better than my 21! :):):)

Went iceskating yest - not because of the recent blades of glory. After close to 7 years away from it, i must say it hasn't changed a bit EXCEPT for the admission. The rink is the same size, the gloves are as ugly, the blades are as old and the locker still costs a dollar. In the past, ice skating used to be a luxury as the 8 dollar unlimited time admission fee used to be such a HUGE proportion of our miserly pocket money in secondary school. NOW, the price has risen to like 11.60 for students for TWO hours! Thank goodness yest was students day so 11.60 was for unlimited time. Again, we could easily spend like 4 hours at the skating rink in the past but i was bored yesterday after half an hour! Maybe we're just too old for it. Going round and round in circles fearing that some skater would crash into you isn't exactly my idea of fun anymore!! But all in all, the company was good which made everything much better! And doing such an activity that brings back fond memories that make you smile to yourself was a good change! :)
