SWAY AGAIN!!
Been so busy lately I haven't had time to do much. Needless to say blog.Left for Eastern Europe 2 fridays ago. Came back last thursday and then left for paris on sat and came back on mon. Went to the Roermond factory outlet today and spent a bomb! :(
Before I write about the trips proper, I need to bitch about how "sway" I am. As usual.
We had to take a train to Brussels from Maastricht to take the plane to Prague. And guess what? STRIKE. We had no choice but to take a taxi to Brussels! And each cab cost 100euros. Shared by 3. Freaking waste of money! Then when we were travelling from Prague to Vienna, we missed the train that we paid to reserve seats for!!! We had to stone = play bridge at Macs for 3 hours to catch the next train where we had to search for seats. And because we were such a big group - 9 of us, we were scattered all over. Then in Krakow, we wanted to see the concentration camp but were too late for the tour from the hostel. Then we managed to get tickets for transport and guide from another tour agency but it turns out that the boss of the agency wasn't aware that the tour doesn't run at that time in autumn. So we had to get a refund. In the end, we managed to get a private driver. But there was a traffic jam and by the time we arrived it was 5pm and totally DARK. Can't see a thing! :( :( :(
And Paris? We were supposed to cycle to the train station early in the morning to catch the train to liege to take the bus. And I dunno why, my bicycle chain came out. And we had to walk and flag a cab. Cab fare was 13 euros for 5 mins. :S Then when we finally reached the train station, we didn't have enough coins to buy tickets from the machine and the ticket office was closed because it was too early in the morning. So we decided to "hiong" and get on the train first. Thank goodness we were allowed to buy tickets on the train and didn't get fined. Then when we reached Liege, I realised I forgot my passport. Unbelievable! It wasn't possible to go back so I decided to just "hiong" again. Thank goodness I managed to make it back without going to jail for not having my passport! My heart beat literally increased its speed by twice at the borders! Then finally, we made it to Paris. We went to the 5 storey castle to get stuff for our friends. And the stupid salesgirl looked at our passports and refused to let us claim tax refund for the stuff we purchased. After we paid! Like ~!@#$%^&*(!!! And best thing she gave us one cert aka receipt for 3 items.
Tell me I'm not sway please..
